I mean that with love of course.. My old caricaturist pal was a fine artist when he grew up in Israel, but as soon he moved to the US and all that fine art stuff flew out the window. Fortunately his brand new girl friend, of about 2 hours, stands up for him.

It's always fun drawing caricatures in Public. This company picnic was for a medical clinic in Tigard, Oregon (a suburb of Portland) which was run by the always entertaining Dr. Ben Schwartzman. Despite Sam's extreme lateness, he charmed the clinics employees and their their kids... Thanks also to Orlando Sanchez for helping with the videography; Orlando is a wonderful cartoon artist himself. J...

My old friend and colleague Gil Heifetz invited me to come to Israel and see the "Capri" Kibbutz he grew up on. Not before a night in Manhattan and a day in London, England. Gil and I are both traveling Caricaturists, so I had to get one drawn in Piccadilly Circus. He was celebrating his 30th birthday as we arrived at his parents Domicile. "Growing up" happens to all of us eventually, so, enjoy...

zappa was always an arrogant ass, always thought he was the smartest person in the room. He bashes religion as if all religions and religious peoples are the same, while ignoring all the great things Christianity has done for humanity over the centuries. This is the same jerk that always bashed other rock bands and artists as if he's the final work on musical art. He has bashed America for having no culture, even though America's culture is the world's culture with all the immigrants over the years from all over the world bringing their cultures to America. Everyone thinks zappa was this great intellect, but he was just an misguided arrogant ass that always thought he was so much smarter than everyone else..

Mao, Stalin and Hitler had no real religious beliefs and they murdered millions. Genghis Khan who had his own beliefs but created religious freedom for those he conquered is allegedly responsible for the demise of 10% of the world's population. So 'no' religion isn't the mass murderer that many suppose it is, mass murder is open to all. But apart from that, I do still enjoy the music Frank was responsible for.

David Brenner as a "Talk Show Moderator" of NightLife wasn't particularly good. He was not well informed. This interview is in no way showed "Zappa at his Zenith." Such claims are just nonsensical! I have not watched any interview that could claim to show "Zappa at his Zenith." Only certain of his songs and instrumental pieces show true spurts of inspired creativity. This interview could be said to show that Zappa was fairly knowledgeable and was definitely a critical thinker. That alone should be enough to inspire your viewers to imitate Zappa. - A Zappa Fan since 1967.

You know, his theory on diet soda may not be far off. We know that sulfates (sulfides) causes memory loss. But its the law to put it in all alcohol consumed products as a preservative. And its really only a waste product of refining plastic. Great analysis, Frank! We miss you..

I love Frank. But his saying religion has historically caused the most problems in the world has become outdated. The current crown for that belongs now to big oil. And with all the thorns that religion used to hold.

Yeah Zappa had some not-too-smart ideas. But culturally he was right on 🎯 due to the Rise of the Powerful, Repressive Religious Right during the 1980s. The Religious Right then , much like today's Religious is a network of political actors, religious organizations, and political pressure groups, that began forming in the United States in the late 1970s, and eventually had a major influence on the political scene of the 1980s and which we see again from the 2000s thru the 2020s. At that time, representative organizations included Jerry Falwell’s Moral Majority, Tim LaHaye’s Council for National Policy, Beverly LaHaye’s Concerned Women for America, and Ed McAteer’s Religious Roundtable. But more generally, it was and still is wrong to blame religion just the crazed, fake, power-hungry religious leaders looking to demand how others behave while expecting, even demanding forgiveness for their numerous moral errors. And don't even think to try to apply science, reason or logic.

I am not religious and when i was much younger i always made those same arguments he made, that religion has been the worst cause of bloodshed and war in all of man existence. and arguably it has and things have been done in the name of religion that make me furious to think about. "and i say arguably religion has been the biggest cause od bloodshed because the Holocaust and the Cambodian Killing Fields and Maus revolution and many many more modern atrocities have not been about religion at all". but what i have also come to see and realize through the decades is religion also had a huge part in bringing about society and governments and rules and peace and safety. some of the most beautiful art and music ever created, it is much more complex than just religion is bad or awful and has only caused harm. dont go thinking the endless line of your ancestors before you were all a bunch of clueless morons and YOU are the one that is finally going to fix all of the problems.

Religion is a humane but futile attempt at explaining the unexplainable: Who we are, why are we here, where are we going?! And like every other invention it has been used by humans for positive as well as negative endeavors.
